Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Fifth-Year Interim Report to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) has been accepted with “no additional report required.”

“Full accreditation by SACSCOC is re-affirmed every 10 years, with an interim review at the five-year mark. William Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s fifth-year report was accepted without any request for clarification or additional information. That’s a significant marker of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s commitment to academic, operational, and fiscal excellence,” said Â鶹ÊÓƵ Provost Noal Cochran.

The good news came during SACSCOC’s annual meeting, held Dec. 6-9 at Music City Center in Nashville.

Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Office of Academic Affairs led the task of preparing and submitting the Fifth-Year Interim Report – but Cochran said it was a collaboration among every academic and operational unit on campus.

“This positive outcome reflects countless hours of hard work by faculty and staff members from all over Â鶹ÊÓƵ. It should be seen as an affirmation of our commitment to academic excellence, collaboration, and institutional effectiveness,” Cochran said.

SACSCOC’s Fifth-Year Interim Report reviews accreditation standards related to administration and organization, faculty credentials, student achievement, educational programs and policies, student support, financial and physical resources, transparency, and institutional representation.
